Official Christian County Record Contacts
For current custody, a jail-created booking record, or a Sheriff's record request, begin with the Christian County Sheriff's Office or the detention center. Verify a contact before sending sensitive information because office details can change.
| Office | Contact and route |
|---|---|
| Christian County Sheriff's Office | Sheriff Brad Cole, 110 W. Elm St. #70, Ozark, MO 65721. Phone: (417) 582-1030. Email listed in the county directory: sheriff@christiancountysheriff.net. |

| County Clerk Sunshine route | Paula Brumfield, 100 W. Church St., Room 304, Ozark, MO 65721; sunshine@christiancountymo.gov; (417) 582-4340. This is a general county-government fallback. |

The Sheriff form should identify the person, booking number or case number when known, approximate date, location, arresting agency, and exact record sought. The County Clerk form says a response is due by the end of the third business day under the Sunshine Law, but the rule does not promise release of every requested item.
Choose the Right Record Route
The office that created a record is usually the best place to request it. The guide below separates the most common local questions.
- For a current jail listing or county booking record, use the Christian County roster and booking guide and the Sheriff records route.
- For a Nixa incident or arrest record, use Nixa Police's official records request page.
- For an Ozark police record, use the city's official online form or downloadable records-request route.
- For a Sparta incident, make a written request to the city or Sparta Police custodian. No dedicated online police-records form was verified in the research sweep.
- For a public court filing, hearing, or disposition, use Missouri Case.net and the Christian County court.
- For a state-custody question, use the Missouri Department of Corrections offender search. For federal or immigration custody, use the relevant federal locator.
Emergency concerns should go to 911. Sparta Police lists Christian County Dispatch at (417) 582-1030 for its local non-emergency routing. A call to a public office may not establish all record details, especially when a record is confidential, sealed, or held by another agency.
